MAXIMIAN HERCULES (285–310). Aurelianus. Radiate bust of Maximian Hercules, wearing a helmet and cuirass, facing right. IMP C MAXIMIANVS P AVG. R./ Naked Hercules standing on the right, strangling the Nemean lion; at his feet behind him, his club; behind, a flying Victoriola on the right, crowning him. VIRTVTI AVGG. Ø24.5 mm, (4.1 g). SUP. Magnificent specimen with a fine patina. Slightly soft strike on the reverse. Rare in this condition.
