A draped and armoured bust of Arcadius wearing a diadem, facing right, holding a spear in his right hand and a shield in his left, viewed in three-quarter profile from the front, crowned by the hand of God. D N ARCAD-IVS P F AVG. R/. Arcadius standing full face, in military attire, holding the chrismated labarum in his right hand and leaning on his shield with his left hand; in the field on the left, a kneeling captive. GLORIA RO-MANORVM/ T|-// SMHB. Ae26, (4.1g). SUP. Very fine green patina. Uncommon in this condition.
