First edition of this collector's item. It is illustrated with a frontispiece by Coypel and numerous plates.
With the figure of Maria Alexandrovna of Russia (1853-1920), affixed at a later date. Daughter of Tsar Alexander II of Russia, she married Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh.
