In-18, contemporary calfskin, decorated spine. Binding worn with small losses. Yellowed paper, some foxing, particularly on the title page. 72 pp. Engravers’ marks in the text. 2 old handwritten bookplates at the bottom of the title page. Pencil inscription on the second endpaper: Purchased in London, April 1888, 200 francs. Second Marolles catalogue. First work in which engravers’ marks appear. Very rare.
