[FACSIMILE OF A LETTER BY VERLAINE]
Facsimile of a letter signed by Verlaine, known as the ‘Letter from Paliseul’, illustrated with three small pen-and-ink drawings, one of which is erotic. A four-page letter in-8 format, written in Verlaine’s hand in ink, ‘faithfully reproduced by Jacomet on squared paper’. This facsimile, included with the 1926 ‘Hombres’ edition, was no doubt given by Jacomet to Dorbon-Aîné. The original letter, which was notably part of the Nordmann collection, came up for sale in 2006 along with the book.

A 4-page in-8 programme, illustrated in bistre, for the matinee dedicated to the glory of Paul Verlaine at the Théâtre de l’Odéon in 1911.
