17TH-CENTURY POITIERS POSTER Large poster (390 mm x 501 mm) printed for the defence of a philosophy thesis at the College of Poitiers in 1771. Featuring the names and places of origin of the candidates. Later used as a cover sheet in Loches for the register of criminal hearings from 1781 to 1790. Yellowed paper, with damage including the missing upper margin.
