The book sets out a reasoned list of the vices to which the Jesuits are alleged to have indulged, categorising them by type: simony, blasphemy, sacrilege, magic, irreligion, idolatry (notably Chinese and Malabar), lewdness, perjury, judicial malfeasance, theft, secret bribery, handling stolen goods, murder, parricide, suicide, regicide, etc.
