Paris, Louis-François Delatour, 1771. 4 volumes in-4, light-coloured calfskin, triple fillet, decorated spine, brown title and volume number labels, interior roulette, gilt edges (Contemporary binding). One of the finest editions produced by the Jesuit Gabriel Brotier, librarian at the Lycée Louis-le-Grand, ‘magnificently printed’ according to Brunet. It is illustrated with four double-page engraved maps and a separate dynastic chart. A fine copy in contemporary light-coloured calfskin.
