The German physician Georg Wolfgang Wedel (1645–1721) was a professor of surgery, botany, theoretical and practical medicine, and chemistry at the University of Jena from 1673 onwards. He was the author of several works on alchemy and pharmaceutical chemistry.
A fine copy in contemporary vellum.
Browned paper, as is always the case; a minor printing fault on the last preliminary leaf (b4). Cracked joints, a small tear at the edge of the second cover.
