Description
DEE (John). A true and faithful account of what transpired over many years between Dr John Dee… and certain spirits; leading… to a general upheaval of most states and kingdoms in the world. Glasgow: The Antonine Publishing Co.; Portmeirion: The Golden Dragon Press, 1974. Folio, grey cloth Bradel binding, illustrated dust jacket and publisher’s slipcase. A complete facsimile of the rare first edition published by Méric Casaubon in 1659. Printed in a run of 1,500 numbered copies; this is one of the 1,000 bound in cloth. A very fine copy, despite a tiny tear on one edge of the illustrated dust jacket.
