In-12, [2]–46 pp., ivory-coloured vellum Bradel binding (contemporary binding). ‘A limited-run reprint, now rare, of an almost unobtainable book ’ (Dorbon) concerning the estates of Aix-en-Provence, a famous case in which the Benedictine monk Louis Gaufridy, parish priest of Les Accoules, was accused of witchcraft and sentenced to be burnt alive.
