First edition of the Châlons customary law with commentary by the Châlons jurist Louis Billecart (1619-1685), lawyer at the Paris parliament and adviser to the King. It was reprinted in 1699.
Handwritten bookplate on title: M. Turgot. Binding rubbed, upper hinge cracked, small loss at the head, foxing.
