Leiden, Andries Clouck, 1624. 2 works in one volume in-16, stiff vellum, smooth spine, later handwritten title, blue edges (Binding of the period). Reunion of two pocket editions of Erasmus' treatises on epistolary art and language. The first is decorated with an engraved title featuring a portrait of Erasmus.
From the libraries of John Paisley, with ms. bookplate dated Berlin 1842, and Mark J. Lowe, of Balliol College, with dry stamp.
