PRIESTLEY (Joseph). Experiments and observations on different kinds of air. Berlin and Paris, Saillant & Nyon, 1775. In-12, fawn calf, spine decorated, marbled edges (Binding of the period). First French edition, translated by Jacques Gibelin and illustrated with two large folding engraved plates. Four other volumes were subsequently published. Binding worn, last leaf creased and unbound.
