Ibid, 1807. 2 parts in one volume in-4, calf with roots, gilt roulette, smooth spine decorated, inner lace, gilt edges (period binding). A deluxe in-4 edition of the Code de Commerce, complete with the table of contents under the date of the original edition. "The Code de Commerce of 1807 crowns the constant efforts made throughout the eighteenth century to adapt and update the ordinance of 1673 or Code marchand, whose imperfections had quickly become apparent" (Jean Tulard).
