SUETONE. De la vie des douze Césars. Paris, Jean Gesselin, 1611. In-4, soft vellum (contemporary binding). First edition of the translation and annotations by Jean Baudoin. It is decorated with a title-frontispiece by Jaspar Isaac and 12 plates of equestrian portraits of Roman emperors, of which only the first is signed by Pelletier. Slight loss of vellum at the edges, some foxing and browned leaves.
