In-12 square, violet jansenist morocco, gilt inner lace, violet moire lining and endpapers, gilt MP on first flyleaf, large decorative metalwork clasps, gilt edges (Kauffmann-Petit). A very fine copy of this charming book of hours inspired by medieval manuscripts. Each page is decorated with illuminations and very finely chromolithographed borders. Also included: Paroissien romain d'après les imprimés français du XVe siècle. Paris, Gruel & Engelmann, 1858.
