CASSINI (Jacques). Élémens d'astronomie. Paris, Imprimerie royale, 1740, in-4, speckled calf, spine decorated, speckled edges (contemporary binding). Second edition, with corrected errors and enriched with new figures. It contains 34 plates engraved by Simonneau, including 13 fold-outs. The original, published the same year, contained only 21 plates. It was published separately from the Tables astronomiques, which are mostly found attached to the first edition. HL, 9251.
