Collection of feudal acknowledgements. Rouergue region. Sixteenth-century manuscript on paper. Folio (43 x 31 cm) of 76 leaves, the transcribed documents are dated between 1482 and 1557 but the order is not chronological and the document as a whole must date from around 1550-60. A collection of feudal acknowledgments and receipts, some in Latin, most in French, relating to individuals or villages in south-west France, including Puech Perg(u)at, parish of Les Mazières in Aveyron. The leaves are numbered from 44 to 127 (foliation 47 doubled), the first leaves, ff. 64 to 72 and at least, at the end, the 5 leaves of the last quire are missing. Bound in contemporary vellum, traces of binding, major loss to spine and second covers, last three leaves detached and with margins damaged, wetness in the inner margin at the end of the collection.
