- Text volume in-4 bound in full midnight blue morocco, boards decorated with a triple frame of quadruple gilt fillet with interlacing in the corners, spine ribbed with gilt fillet decoration, gilt titling, red morocco doubled boards decorated with a triple frame of 2 gilt fillets, double fillet on the edges, gilt edges on witnesses, ex-libris of Henri Bonnasse in gilt letters, blue tabis endpapers, double guard, blue half-maroquin jacket with band and overlap, spine with false nerves, gilt titling (rel. Georges Cretté) - 106 pp, [2 ff., table, completed]. Illustrated with a portrait of Jouas engraved by Royer, and 41 black etchings by Jouas (title finial, frontispiece, 39 in-t). Edition of 135 copies on Rives vellum, this one n° 32 for M. Charles Miguet. Enriched with 2 large signed coloured pencil drawings by Jouas (old house rue St Romain in Rouen, 1930 - Collégiale de Triel, 1889, "en souvenir, 50 ans après, à mon ami Miguet"), a postcard addressed to Mr Miguet by Ch. Focillon, a facsimile of a letter giving the genesis of the book and the menu of the Sté des Amis des Livres of 10/01/1939 adorned with an engraving. Bound with the suite, a double edition of the 41 engravings on Japon Ancien, one in the second state (no. 4/4), the other in the definitive state (no. 3/3). Each suite is accompanied by the print of the etching used for the menu illustration (respectively justified 4/4 and 6/110).

- 2 pp. in-4 on headed paper from the Océanic-Bar, 1 rue de la Savonnerie, Rouen (15/07/1937) where in a great burst of lyricism, he talks about his latest drawings of Rouen and his return to Cayeux "to be on my copperplates! tranquil, ardent, and God willing, a good engraver".
- 4 pp. in-4 (01/03/1939), describing the conditions in which the ten years that made it possible to produce the drawings took place (property of Miguet, see 6th volume).
b/ - 2 letters, in-8 format, from H. Focillon to Miguet: one thanking him for the visit he paid him with Jouas, where they were able to admire the jewels in his library (02/05/1931); the other asking him to send 2 sets of proofs for a final re-reading (10/02/1938). The book was published on 18/10/1938.
c/- 3 coloured pencil drawings by Jouas: one dating from 1879 (Jouas was 13), during his first trip to Rouen "vieilles maisons" (9 x 8 cm on school paper); "Le caveau de 1564 à l'Océanic Bar, 16/07/1937" in-4 format; "Notre-Dame de Mantes de St Maclou, 6h du soir, 1927", in-4 format.
c/ - The vellum edition of a triple suite: 1st state, 47 plates (all signed in pencil except 5 which are duplicates) plus 2 redone - 2nd state, 42 plates (all signed in pencil) plus 1 redone plate as a duplicate - final state, 41 plates, all signed in pencil and justified 3/3.
2/ - Four folio volumes bound in midnight blue half-maroquin with corners, spine ribbed, gilt titling, gilt heads, ex-libris of H. Bonnasse.
a/ - Drawings by Charles Jouas - [title], handwritten note, signed by Jouas, addressed to Miguet "Mon cher Ami, Pour la première Seine et quelques autres de mes ouvrages, vous avez sauvé du destruction les travaux qui se placent dans ma méthode personnelle de travail, entre mes dessins d'après nature et la gravure sur le cuivre. I have collected and classified the works in "Méandres" for you. May you, by restoring them to their original freshness and taking care of their presentation, bear witness to the attentive care with which I have surrounded our child" - followed by 7 original drawings in coloured pencil and 344 original drawings, studies and sketches in ink and pencil, on paper or tracing paper, mounted on 106 sheets of Canson paper.
