In-4 bound in green half-maroquin with corners, underlined by a double gilt fillet, spine ribbed, gilt titling, gilt head, illustrated covers in colour preserved (rel. Duval) - 53 pp. Full-page colour illustrations in 8 repetitive illuminated frames, reproducing the decorations of early manuscripts, 8 of which are full-page. Edition of 189 copies, this being one of 102 on Arches laid paper, containing the suite of all the illustrations on Chine (42 in all, including the frames and lettering).
