Our copy lacks the glossary. Barbier, III, 1486 points out that "Le Glossaire des anciens termes, qui occupe les pages 625-645, ne se trouve pas dans tous les exemplaires".
Beautiful edition of the 51 famous Arrests d'Amour, completed by the 52nd arrêt and [the] "Ordonnances sur le fait des masquez" signed "Le Pamphile" [i.e. Gilles d'Aurigny], as well as the 53rd ruling: "Donné sur le reglement des arreraiges requis par les femmes à l'encontre de leurs mari" (by "l'abbé des Cornards de Rouen") and finally "L'Amant rendu Cordelier à l'observance d'amours" which is no longer attributed to Martial d'Auvergne.
These "Arrêts d'Amour" deal with fictitious gallant trials composed at the beginning of the 16th century by Martial d'Auvergne, with a legal and Joyeux commentary written in Latin by Benoît de Court. These texts are part of Alain Chartier's cycle de la Belle dame sans merci and can be compared with satirical prose works such as "les Quinze joies de mariage" and "les Cent nouvelles nouvelles".
