Paris, Éditions d'Art Les Heures Claires, 1957-1960. 4 volumes small in-4, leaves, filled covers with heraldic decoration, folder, slipcase, slight tears in the folders on the covers - 220 pp, [1 f.] ; 215 pp, [1 p.] ; 221 pp, [1 p.] ; 228 pp, [4 ff.], 92 miniatures (23 per volume) by Henry Lemarié engraved on wood. Edition of 2900 numbered copies, 1/2450 on Rives vellum (no. 757). Complete with the announcement of the publication of Les Fables de La Fontaine (1 double sheet printed and one sheet decorated with an engraved woodcut). The publication of this work took 44 months of "patient and assiduous" work: begun in April 1957, it was completed by Christmas 1960; 3,500 woodcuts were required for the perfect reproduction of Lemarié's 92 miniatures.
