All 3 volumes. A work comprising six parts. Charles-Albert Demoustier, born in Villers-Cotterets in 1760, began his career as a lawyer before turning to a literary career. In 1798, he published these ‘Letters to Emilie on Mythology’, which very quickly became a great success. He died suddenly in 1801. Illustrated with 36 intaglio engravings. Good condition. 6 parts bound in three volumes.
