A volume in half-chagrin with red corners, spine with faux raised bands, gilt titles on: frontispiece, 299 pages, (2), 7 plates out of text. A copy enhanced by a handwritten dedication from the publisher to Mr Mongin. The illustrations consist of a frontispiece portrait of the author by Nadar, based on a drawing by Mongin, and 7 plates drawn by Delort and etched by Mongin. A fine copy.
