Illustrated with 227 superb engravings by Chauveau, Seb. Le Clerc and Le Pautre, as well as a frontispiece by Lebrun. Crude restoration on the first few leaves. Frontispiece stained, significant crease, visible restoration, pp. 441–442 torn but with no missing text. Water-stain at the top of the pages. Loose stitching. Significant loss to the spine. Blunted corners.
