An Italian-style album (21 x 28 cm) containing 47 finely executed drawings dated from 24 June 1824 to October 1825. 3 wash drawings of a view of the port of Le Havre, 7 wash drawings or line drawings of ‘Dieppe’ (October 1825), military figures, a view of the Cape of Good Hope (wash drawing), costumes, birds, etc. 7 are enhanced with gouache. Three drawings are after H. Vernet and two after B. Pinelli. The quality of these unsigned drawings is striking.
