Large 8vo, havana half-maroquin with corner pieces, gilt fillet on the covers, decorated ribbed spine, gilt head, original illustrated covers preserved. (scattered foxing). Printed in an edition of 670 copies. Illustrated with 2 vignettes on the cover, a woodcut portrait of Du Fouilloux based on a drawing attributed to Clouet, 2 title vignettes and 57 large woodcut plates within the text. Edition based on that of 1635. A fine copy despite the foxing. (Thiébaud, 308–311).
