LA VARENDE (Jean de). Vénerie. Introduced by the Duke of Brissac. Paris-Bièvres, Pierre de Tartas, 1965–1966. Folio in loose sheets, with a padded cover decorated with foliage, in the publisher’s slipcase. Seventeen colour lithographs by Jean COMMÈRE. A print run of 301 numbered copies and a few for contributors, all signed by the illustrator and the publisher; this copy (no. 114) is one of 210 printed on large Lana vellum and signed by the artist.
