A set comprising two collections: 1860–1879: 18 volumes bound in red half-shagreen, with richly decorated faux-ribbed spines and gilt edges. 1870–71 in a single volume. 1876 is missing. – 1866–1880: 14 volumes bound in the publisher’s full red percaline. 1870–71 in a single volume. A few broken inner hinges on the percaline-bound volumes; a small loss of marginal paper on the first folios of the 1870 volume. Water stains on the half-shagreen-bound volumes.
