GILL (André). L’Eclipse (complete collection). An illustrated political and satirical journal. Paris, Bureaux du Journal, editor-in-chief François Polo. A four-page weekly journal, featuring a large colour caricature on the front page of each of the 400 issues, from No. 1 (23 January 1868) to No. 400 (25 June 1876). Three folio volumes (50x35 cm), in contemporary red half-calf. Work illustrated mainly by Gill, but also by Job, Lemot, Durendeau, Draner, Lareyt, Mobb, Pépin, etc.
