MOLIERE (Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, known as). Works, illustrated by Jacques Leman. Paris, J. Lemonyer and Emile Testard, 1888–1896. 32 volumes in 8 large quarto volumes (33x26 cm), midnight blue half-morocco with corners (slightly rubbed), full-length gilt stamp depicting Perseus, gilt head. Each title is illustrated with an etching by Jacques Leman, making a total of 32 engravings, these in two states, in black and bistre. One of 200 numbered copies on Dutch laid paper (a few foxing spots on one volume).
