Lyon, Cercle Lyonnais du Livre, 1949; substantial folio volume (34x27 cm) in loose sheets, hardback, slipcase, box (slightly scuffed). 14 original engravings by Pierre Falké across 7 double pages; seven of the nine short stories are illustrated; Pierre Falké’s death prevented the illustrations from being completed. A single print run of 150 copies on Montval vellum, each numbered and inscribed.
