CICERO (Marcus Tullius). Opera. Lugd. Batavorum [Leiden], Officina Elzeviriana, 1642. 8 vols. [of 10] in-12°. Engraved title page and a large half-title page. Fawn calfskin, spine with 4 decorated raised bands, title and volume numbers in fawn morocco, double gilt fillet framing the covers, edges speckled with red (contemporary binding).
Volumes III and VI are missing.
An old handwritten bookplate in vol. IV.
Some foxing, a protruding quire in vol. IV, and some damage to the binding. A sought-after edition in good condition.
