(Contemporary binding). Sixth edition, corrected by the author, and expanded with several new figures and many highly significant observations, together with aphorisms containing all the principal precepts of the art. Numerous intaglio engravings within the text. The ‘Latest Observations on the Diseases of Pregnant Women and New Mothers’ bound at the end with its own title page. Handwritten ex-libris of FALEOZ, or FABOZ, physician and surgeon; and, crossed out, Joseph DELPECH, Master of Surgery, 1760. Some damage to the bindings, a few minor water stains of no consequence, a tear with no loss of text on p. 365 of Volume I.
