VILLON (François). *The Writings of François Villon*, illuminated and calligraphied by Guignard. Paris, Le Club du Livre, 1974. In-4°, 273 pp. Cold-stamped fawn sheepskin, spine with four decorated false ribs, gilt title, covers richly decorated with studs, half-fawn sheepskin slipcase with gilt title on the spine, fawn suede lining, matching slipcase edged with fawn sheepskin. (Atelier Richert).
In a slipcase with a matching spine, containing *Villon et son temps*, an original study by Louis-Robert PLAZOLLES, in-8°, 78 pp., in the publisher’s cardboard binding, and various facsimile documents: a map of Paris from 1552, a colour illustration of the Dance of Death, drawings and woodcuts, playing cards and archival documents.
Copy no. CXVI on pure Lana thread, one of 700 printed for foreign bibliophiles.
