New edition, complete in six volumes. The text is elegantly set.
The first edition was published in nine volumes by Cramer in Geneva between 1770 and 1772.
Its contents, based on the Kehl edition of 1784–1789, were incorporated into the Dictionnaire philosophique of 1764, alongside other alphabetically arranged texts.
Slight water-stain in Volume I; the table of contents in Volume IV is handwritten from the period. A fine copy.
