In-4°, 116 pp. Speckled fawn sheepskin, brown spine with five fawn false ribs, gilt title, double blind-stamped border with small and large dots in the spandrels on the upper cover, with a central colour print depicting a stained-glass window on a gradient background, headpiece decorated in black ink and sepia watercolour depicting a medieval illumination, orange pebbled endpapers, slipcase matching the endpapers, title page on the spine in fawn sheepskin, interior in black suede (A. Giordan). 16 original colour drypoint engravings by Gaston BARRET. Printed in an edition of 280 copies; this is no. XXIV of the 30 intended for the book’s contributors, signed by the artist, with a set of 6 black-and-white engravings with a note, preserved in a brown canvas slipcase with speckled fawn half-sheepskin.
