In-4°, 217 pp. Navy blue shagreen, spine with two faux-nerves decorated with a gilt Lorraine cross, gilt title, upper cover decorated with a gilt Cross of Lorraine surmounting a radiating red ‘V’, red velvet endpapers, gilt head, blue marbled slipcase edged with blue shagreen, red interior. (P. Figarola). Original lithographs by Jacques PECNARD. A single edition of 525 copies signed by the artist; the stones were erased after printing. This copy is no. 288 of 300 on Grand Vélin d’Arches, including a signed lithograph as a frontispiece. A fine copy.
