GAUTIER (Théophile). [NUE (Hélène)]. Enamels and Cameos. No place, Editions Carrés d’Art, 1999. In-4°, 89 pp. Publisher’s black shagreen, spine with two false ribs, gilt title, red and gold mosaic decoration on the upper cover depicting a dandy in a red waistcoat, with a gilt head and ivory tabis; the volume is housed in a half-black shagreen slipcase. Matching slipcase edged with black shagreen. 15 lithographs and 7 original copperplate engravings by Hélène NUE, the latter printed and hand-coloured ‘à la poupée’. Printed in a run of just over 154 copies on Rives vellum; this is no. 5 of the 40 copies enhanced with a signed set of black engravings and bistre lithographs.
