Quarto, 169 pp. Unbound, ivory cover with the title in green, green cardboard slipcase, title gilded on the spine, spine edged with white cloth, matching slipcase. 38 drypoint engravings in the text by Jean FRÉLAUT, including 15 full-page plates. Printed in a run of 215 copies on white Arches vellum; this is copy no. 83 for Mr Raymond PINCHARD (1889–1961), Senator and Mayor of Nancy. This copy is accompanied by the menu from the general meeting held on 19 March 1955 in the ballrooms of the Hôtel Georges V, organised by the members of the ‘BEAUX LIVRES – GRANDS AMIS’ Society.
