The whole set is housed in a green moiré slipcase edged with fawn shagreen. Translated into French by Amelot de LA HOUSSAYE. Chiselled engravings by JOSSO. Printed in an edition of 400 copies; this copy, no. 55, includes a set of the 35 burins in their first state of engraving and an original sketch. Spine sun-faded.
