QUEFFÉLEC (Henri). [CHIEZE (Jean)]. A Man from Ouessant. No place, Bibliophiles et Graveurs d’aujourd’hui, 1957. In-4°, 165 pp. Brown shagreen, spine with four decorated false ribs, gilt title, gilt fillet with gilt spandrels on the covers, large gilt ornament in the centre of the upper cover. reproducing the cover illustration (a double boarding hook?), tobacco-coloured tabis endpapers, gilt headband, front endpaper preserved, slipcase edged with brown shagreen. 20 original woodcuts by Jean CHIEZE, in the text. Printed in a run of only 130 copies on Arches-style vellum; this is no. 27, printed for Madame J. Paul DUBRAY. Jean-Paul DUBRAY (1883–1940), French painter, engraver, art critic and writer. Spine sun-faded, a fine copy.
