In-4°, 139 pp. Black goatskin, smooth spine, title in white, title embossed on the upper cover within a rectangle of crushed leather, author’s name in white, white fillet on the endpapers, ivory half-leather endpapers, black headband, slipcase edged with black shagreen (Artistic binding by Centre-Bibliotheca, Limoges). 16 separate illustrations by Claude VERLINDE reproduced by collotypy and enhanced with stencil work. Printed in a run of just over 250 copies; this is no. 66 of the 100 artist’s copies, accompanied by a printed set of the drawings in a black half-goatskin folder lined with ivory tabis. With an inscription by the illustrator: ‘For Eliane, with best wishes from the illustrator, C. Verlinde’. A very fine copy.
