Loose-leaf, ivory cover with flaps, grey cardboard slipcase with blue lettering on the spine, blue cloth slipcase. 12 compositions painted in gouache and signed by Mireille BERRARD. This edition of *Le Cimetière marin* commemorates the twentieth anniversary of Paul Valéry’s death. Printed in an edition of 67 copies; this is no. 22 of the 39 on Arches paper. Copy signed by the artist and the publisher. With a dedication from the artist: ‘To Mr Jean Gontard, in memory of our warm welcome to Paul Valéry… Mireille Berrard’. A few very slight marks on the cover, minor water stains on the slipcase; the interior is in very good condition.
