Montreuil-sur-Mer, Printing House of the Chartreuse of Notre-Dame des Prés, 1890–1892. 2 vols. in-4°, comprising VII, 1 blank page, 672 pp.; 1009 pp. 262 figures in the text and 24 separate plates. Blue half-basane, spine with 5 false ribs, title and volume number gilded, covers preserved. First edition, complete with both frontispiece maps and plates. A few defects to the preserved covers; marginal water-stain without damage to the map of the Abbey of Saint-Claude, as well as to the very first leaves of Volume I; foxing. A good copy, not very common; Volume II largely uncut.
