Since the annexation of Franche-Comté to the Crown. New edition, revised, corrected, and considerably expanded. Besançon, Daclin, 1771–1778. 5 vols. folio. Text in two columns. Marbled fawn sheepskin, spine with six raised bands and floral decoration, title page and volume labels in light morocco, blue marbled edges. (Contemporary binding). Handwritten bookplate of Armand MARQUISET, no. 550 [?] from his library. Volume V comprises an alphabetical index. Without the supplementary volume. Complete in itself. Perrod, 732–4. Some scuffing to the leather. A fine copy in its contemporary binding, with a most interesting provenance.
