A very rare advertising leaflet for the lavishly produced work by Henry-René d’Allemagne (1863–1950), based on his early 20th-century *Travels in Persia*, of which only 500 copies were printed. It comprises a half-title page, a title page and the publisher’s announcement specifying the number of volumes, format, page numbers and illustrations, along with the price of the paperback edition (150 francs) or the morocco-bound edition (270 francs). 40 pages of text with figures and 47 plates, including 17 in colour and one map.
