In-8. Bound in glazed tobacco-coloured calfskin, with extensive cold-stamped decoration on the covers. Centred in gilt letters, ‘In Antwerp, 1564’. A very well-preserved copy, from the library of Paul Helbronner, with his bookplate on the first endpaper. First edition, extremely rare. Menher was one of the pioneers of Dutch arithmetic, and influenced his successors, particularly during the period from 1600 to 1650. Countless wood-engraved figures.
