Vaultier.’ Paris: Denys Mariette, 1707. 4 folio volumes (approx. 40 x 26 cm). Excludes the supplement published in 1712. Frontispiece and portrait of the author engraved in the first volume. Vignettes and initials. Dedicatory epistle to King Louis XIV. Title pages printed in red and black. Text printed in two columns. A few stains on the endpapers of Volume I. Full contemporary calfskin. Covers rubbed with some losses. Spined back richly decorated with title label and volume number (cap bands damaged, some losses). Gold roulette decorating the inside of the covers. Corners worn. Fair condition overall.
